The Sedimentation Tube is a critical tool for ensuring the long-term integrity of oil wells. By simulating a static state, it allows laboratory technicians to detect potential solids settlement or free water issues that could lead to gas migration or weak zones in the cement sheath.
Weigh the required cement material and prepare the cement slurry. Simulate a dynamic cement injection work in the well, and then pour the slurry into a sedimentation tube and settle it. And measure whether sedimentation of the slurry particles occurs.
