The bench-top consistometer is a crucial tool for mobile and remote laboratories with limited space. It allows for critical testing of cement thickening times, ensuring the quality of cement used in oil well cementing.
This instrument enables users to simulate cement thickening behavior according to the most commonly used API Spec 10A protocols. Nithons' expertise in manufacturing and field service is evident in the design of the Model NBCQ, a compact and durable device that incorporates many features of our larger consistometers.
Single temp/pressure and multiple temp/pressure test

Test below 0℃ is available

The bench top consistometer is easy to use and reliable, with all necessary controls conveniently located on the front panel. Clear displays show thickening time, pressure, and temperature, making it a convenient and dependable tool for quality control in cement production.
The slurry cup is designed for quick closure, heating and pressurization. A programmable temperature controller accurately regulates the rate of temperature increase in the slurry. The PLC monitors the temperature and consistency of the cement throughout the test.
Potentiometer of the Consistometer

Test data can be set, observed and saved via PC software. An electric valve and a manual valve are designed as a parallel system, so even if there is an emergency such as a power outage, the experiment can be stopped manually to prevent cement solidification.
To increase the frequency of tests, the instrument uses a cast-aluminum cooler with a shorter cooling time, preventing cement slurry from solidifying due to a long cooling time.
In addition, test data can also be set, viewed and saved through PC software.

There are alarm modes available for consistency, pressure, temperature, and other experimental parameters. The experiment can be stopped by just one tap on the screen, making it safer.
The Portable HPHT Consistometer is designed and manufactured according to API Standard-10. This standard is used to simulate high-temperature and high-pressure conditions in down-hole wells and continuously measure the consistency and time change of cement.
Due to its small size and lightweight, the portable consistometer is suitable for testing on-site. It has a PLC and a touch screen, which allows users to set experimental parameters easily by touching the screen instead of pressing buttons frequently. The test data and graphs are displayed on the touch screen, and they can be saved as screenshots or output through a USB port.
