Product Description

NZCJ2220 Dual Cell HTHP Consistometer for High-Temperature and High-Pressure Cement Testing

The NZCJ2220 Dual Cell HTHP Consistometer is a laboratory testing system designed for oil well cement evaluation under controlled high-temperature and high-pressure conditions. As the dual-cell configuration of the NZCJ Deep Ocean Series, the NZCJ2220 provides two test cells within one instrument platform, making it a practical solution for laboratories that require greater testing capacity. The system combines touchscreen control, automatic pressure regulation, smart consistency calibration and real-time monitoring to support efficient HTHP cement testing workflows.

oilwell cementing test curve

The large touchscreen provides direct access to test parameter settings, temperature control and test data. Operators can enter or modify parameters through the user interface and monitor temperature, pressure, consistency and curve graphs during the test. Once the required test conditions have been configured, the instrument can perform automatic operation with one-button control, reducing complicated manual procedures and helping improve laboratory workflow efficiency.

The dual-cell configuration makes the NZCJ2220 suitable for professional laboratories that conduct repeated oil well cement testing and need a higher-capacity testing platform. The two-cell design provides greater flexibility for laboratory scheduling and test planning while maintaining the same core control and monitoring functions of the NZCJ series. This makes the system particularly suitable for cement laboratories, oilfield testing facilities and research environments where HTHP cement evaluation forms part of routine laboratory work.

consistometer consistency testing

During testing, the NZCJ2220 can automatically regulate pressure according to the required procedure to simulate high-temperature and high-pressure downhole conditions. Automatic pressure regulation helps reduce errors caused by manual adjustment. Users can also configure alarm limits for consistency, temperature and pressure, allowing the system to provide warnings when predefined values are reached.

For consistency measurement, the NZCJ2220 uses an optimized potentiometer that is designed to improve durability and simplify calibration and cleaning. The newly designed potentiometer allows consistency to be calibrated to 0 Bc and provides good contact with the test cell contact pins. The spring is installed at the bottom of the potentiometer and is designed to reduce the influence of cement slurry. The smart calibration system can also reduce the need for frequent spring adjustment when the zero point is correctly calibrated.

The NZCJ2220 incorporates a built-in coil-pipe copper chiller to improve heat diffusion and shorten cool-down time. An external chiller can be connected when below-ambient-temperature testing is required. Oil level can be monitored through the touchscreen or oil-level indicator, while electrically operated and manually operated valves are available for cooling, air exhaust and air-to-cylinder systems.

The NZCJ2220 Dual Cell HTHP Consistometer provides a consistency range of 0–100 Bc, a maximum temperature of 204°C and a maximum working pressure of 138 MPa. The adjustable rotation speed is 0–300 rpm. With its dual-cell configuration, automated pressure control and touchscreen monitoring, the NZCJ2220 provides a flexible solution for laboratories seeking reliable and efficient high-temperature and high-pressure oil well cement testing equipment.
