The NZCJ2120 Single Cell HTHP Consistometer is a laboratory testing instrument designed for evaluating oil well cement under controlled high-temperature and high-pressure conditions. As part of the NZCJ Deep Ocean Series, the instrument combines a single test cell with touchscreen operation, automatic pressure regulation, smart calibration and real-time test data monitoring. It is designed to provide laboratories with a practical and efficient solution for routine HTHP cement testing and oil well cement consistency evaluation.
The NZCJ2120 features a large touchscreen that allows operators to enter and modify test parameters directly, while temperature parameters can be configured through the touchscreen interface.

Test data and curve graphs are displayed clearly on the screen, enabling users to monitor the testing process without relying on multiple independent displays. After the required parameters have been configured, the instrument can operate automatically with one-button control, helping simplify laboratory procedures and reduce manual operations.


For oil well cement testing, stable pressure control is essential when simulating high-temperature and high-pressure downhole conditions. The NZCJ2120 can automatically regulate pressure during testing according to the required procedure, reducing errors associated with manual pressure adjustment. Users can also establish alarm limits for parameters such as consistency, temperature and pressure, allowing abnormal conditions to be identified more efficiently during testing.
The instrument incorporates an optimized potentiometer designed to improve durability and simplify calibration and cleaning. The newly designed potentiometer facilitates consistency calibration to 0 Bc and provides reliable contact with the test cell contact pins. Its spring is positioned at the bottom of the potentiometer to reduce the influence of cement slurry on the spring during operation. A smart calibration system also reduces the need for frequent spring adjustment when the zero point is correctly calibrated.
The NZCJ2120 is equipped with a built-in coil-pipe copper chiller designed to accelerate heat diffusion and shorten cool-down time. For applications requiring testing below ambient temperature, an external chiller can also be connected. The oil reservoir level can be monitored through the touchscreen or oil-level indicator, allowing operators to observe oil filling and oil return during operation.
The NZCJ2120 Single Cell HTHP Consistometer provides a consistency range of 0–100 Bc, a maximum temperature of 204°C and a maximum working pressure of 138 MPa. The adjustable rotation speed is 0–300 rpm. With its single-cell configuration, touchscreen control and automated testing functions, the NZCJ2120 is suitable for oil well cement laboratories, cement research and quality-control applications requiring controlled high-temperature and high-pressure cement testing.
